OWNER AND PROVIDER - TYLER COLE, DNP, FNP-C
Tyler earned his Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2011 after which he worked in surgical oncology at MUSC for three years. Tyler went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from MUSC in 2015. He was recently awarded the honor of 2022 Distinguished Alumni for the MUSC College of Nursing. Shortly after graduation, he returned to the Golden Isles, where he was born and raised, to provide care in the place he calls home. He remains a dedicated adjunct faculty for the College of Nursing at MUSC. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Tyler's passion is providing compassionate care to his patients while always going above and beyond. When he's not working, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as their friends and extended family in the Golden Isles. He loves traveling, watching movies, and enjoying the outdoors in this beautiful place we call home.
PROVIDER - MARY MAY, MSN, FNP
Mary joins us after five years as an intensive care nurse at our local hospital. She received her BSN from Valdosta State University and her FNP from Georgia Southern University. As an ICU nurse, Mary saw how so many people ended up hospitalized due to poorly managed chronic health conditions, so she is especially excited to join Expand Family Health to help empower patients to take control of their health. A couple more fun facts about Mary - she served in the Peace Corps in the Ukraine after attending culinary school in NYC and has two young children. She loves reading and cooking (hello culinary school) in her spare time, and also enjoys traveling with her family.
PROVIDER - CLAIRE BELL, MSN, FNP
Claire Bell is a certified nurse practitioner who has been providing exceptional nursing care for over 10 years! Claire earned her family nurse practitioner degree at Georgia Southwestern State University. She is a member of The American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is excited to be a team member with such a phenomenal group of people at Expand Family Health. She enjoys educating patients on best practices for positive patient outcomes. In her free time, she spends time with friends and family, goes to the gym, sings, and travels.
OFFICE NURSE - DANIELLE
Danielle is a Licensed Practical Nurse and has been in the healthcare industry for over 12 years. She believes that every single life matters, so she ensures daily that she handles her job with great compassion, attention, and care. She earned her associate of applied science from Coastal Pines Technical College in 2017 where she later obtained her practical nursing degree in 2018. Danielle is a fun-loving and outgoing mother of one and has two fur babies too! When she's not taking care of patients, she enjoys time with her family, traveling, reading, shopping, and outdoor adventures.
OFFICE MEDICAL ASSISTANT - LIZ
Liz graduated from Coastal Pines Tech college as a registered medical assistant. She has been in the medical field for 8 years, and her infectious personality shows every patient she meets that she absolutely loves it. She loves the northeast, mainly Boston. In her spare time, she enjoys watching hockey, and it's no surprise that her favorite team is the Boston Bruins. She enjoys the mountains and hiking, as well as watching horror movies. She has a wonderful husband of almost 12 years and an amazing fur baby.
OFFICE MANAGER - KAYLA
Kayla graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in 2011 and has brought her professional expertise to various fields, including social services, healthcare staffing, and CrossFit gyms. Outside of work, Kayla is a devoted mother to a young gymnast and enjoys traveling the world, reading, and spending quality time with friends as well as continuing her passion for fitness as a CrossFit coach and athlete. Her enthusiasm for fitness, health, and community aligns perfectly with her role as Office Manager at Expand Family Health, where she is excited to contribute her skills and energy to the team.
MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST - JOCELYN
Jocelyn is a healthcare professional with a heart rooted in storytelling, connection, and creativity. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance and a minor in Business, a unique combination that has shaped the way she approaches the world: with empathy, presence, and purpose. When she's not working, she's all about embracing experiences that feed the soul and spark creativity. She's an avid reader, a travel lover, and a live music enthusiast who believes concerts are pure magic. And fashion is her everyday art form as you can see with her confidence and flair.
MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST - KIRSTY
Kirsty has called Georgia home for most of her life, with a few memorable years spent serving in the U.S. Navy. Her time in the Navy created some of her favorite memories and fueled her adventurous and fearless approach to life.
Kirsty is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing at the local college, building on her passion for healthcare and her excitement to grow in the medical field. She is thrilled to be part of the Expand Family Health team and to further her career alongside such a dedicated group.
Outside of work and school, Kirsty enjoys spending time on the water with her husband, her college sweetheart, whenever the weather allows. She is also a proud mother of what she refers to as “The Brady Bunch (literally)".
MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST - TAMMY
Prior to joining Expand Family Health, Tammy spent more than four years as a professional role player at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, providing scenario-based support for basic federal law enforcement training programs. She has now transitioned into the business side of the medical field, where she continues to contribute her skills and expertise.
Tammy has been married for over 26 years and is the proud mother of four daughters. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her adult children, and visiting Disney World as often as possible.
